The Beginning.

Updated: Feb 20

Once my husband Robert & I began to have children, I quickly began to re-think what I wanted to put in and on my baby. This brand-new person had untainted skin, and she seemed so delicate that I immediately began researching remedies and care options for each and every ailment that came up over the years.

I've grown to learn about products that promote actual healing of root causes, and began to make many of them on my own. I've shied away from body washes with more ingredients than I can pronounce. I am no longer OK with washing our clothes in a field of lab-created substances. Lately as I wash dishes, I can't get past the fact that my hands are immersed in way too many artificial chemicals just to clean our plates in those very same chemicals.

Many years ago, I had the desire to make my own bar soap. It seemed dreamy; however, I was neck-deep in having babies and wasn't ready to take the step. Time went by, and a quote from a pastor, Ernie Fink, given over 20 years ago rang in my ears, "When the pain of remaining the same is greater than the pain of change, that's when people change."

Finally, my desire to be free from chemicals became a drive that keeps me going when days are long. I want to create the opportunity for other families to live in good health - not just on the inside, which many do so well! But on the outside as well.
