Liquid Soap

ree

It was pretty easy to get used to making bar soap, honestly. But liquid soap that is only made with particular ingredients is a very different process. Specifically, it a literal difference between cold processing and hot processing. And while you can make bar soap through melt&pour options with pre-made base soaps, I’m a cold process gal at heart. Cold process is the least involved, most natural method to soap making. And it works perfectly well for bar soaps, by using sodium hydroxide as the lye agent.

Liquid soaps must use potassium hydroxide as the lye agent and must be cooked. Cooking makes it a hot process that is more complex than cold processing. Cooking takes the saponification process from a few days to a few hours. The price of the convenience of liquid soap. The natural process sped up. We do enjoy a good liquid soap, and have found our standard natural ingredients fit well into the recipe “mold”.

Let’s make soap healthy again.

These are some of the Puresest ingredients you'll come by! I love the way it leaves my skin feeling, without the concern of harmful chemicals or additives! I've tried all products and I was not disappointed. My favorite is the tallow bar soaps and the Lavendar Tallow lotion. I actually love to use the liquid tallow soap for a nice face or Foot wash vs. Hand/full body wash (but that's just my preference).
